Q:When should I call GP Moving Services?

A: The ideal time to contact GP Movers is at least 3 to 6 weeks before your desired move out date. The earlier you contact us the better, as there will be more time to plan your move with GP Movers. Our office phone hours are Monday through Friday 9 AM to 7 PM, and 10 AM to 3 PM on Saturday, Pacific Standard Time. You may also leave a message outside of these hours and one of our representatives will get back to you as soon as possible.

Q:What are my responsibilities?

A: Please be present during the packing phase of your move and make sure to avoid packing any prohibited items. You should also take care of any valuables such as jewelry, money, and so on. And you will also need to verify and sign off on the inventory list.

Q:What I am not allowed to take with me?

A: You may not move any flammable, highly fragile or perishable items with GP Movers. If you have any questions regarding specific items please do not hesitate to call your GP Movers representative.

Q:What are definitely the no-go items?

A:Alcohol, drugs and firearms. If you are relocating internationally you may want to check what items are banned, prohibited, or restricted and pack accordingly.

Q:Will you move my car?

A: At the moment GP Movers does not offer vehicle shipping. But we do have dependable partner companies that will professionally transport your vehicle.

Q:Can I pack my stuff?

A: You sure can! Although keep in mind certain insurance coverage will not pay for damages on items packed by customers unless extreme damage is visible on the carton.
